Sarah Olivier
most recently served as a consultant to the Housing Element of the
City of New Orleans Master Plan, a position in which she reviewed
previous housing studies, collected applicable Census data, represented
the City Planning Commission in stakeholder meetings. She also served
as a Housing Development manager for Volunteers of America of Greater
New Orleans, including project management for a single-room occupancy
development and occupancy screening and selection for a new affordable
rental development. With the Committee for a Better New Orleans,
she organized Board and task force meetings, supported task force
co-chairs and drafted the position paper for the Housing Task Force.
Ms. Olivier holds a Bachelor of Arts from St. John’s College
and a Master in Urban and Regional Planning from the University
of New Orleans.
