Many Benjamin Franklin Scholars decide to pursue a subject through independent study or research.
You can get academic credit for your research by registering for BENF 099. Please note that BENF 099 does not count as a BFS Seminar.
Many professors are looking for undergraduates to work with them on their research, either as a volunteer or work-study position. CURF’s Research Directory lists opportunities with Penn professors in every subject area.
If your project requires you to be at Penn over the summer, you may apply for BFS Summer Funding.
