What does it mean to be a Benjamin Franklin Scholar?
It means that:
- you are a part of a select group of undergraduate students committed to the power of ideas
- you are hungry for knowledge, and want to expand its frontiers
- you want to take small courses with professors at the tops of their fields
- you want to join a community of scholars who seek to enrich their lives inside and outside of the classroom
As a new member of the Benjamin Franklin Scholars, you are joining a group of talented individuals at the University of Pennsylvania, and participating in a program designed to help you get the most out of your undergraduate education. The Benjamin Franklin Scholars program is a dynamic blend of dedicated advising, small intensive courses, and opportunities and support for individual research outside the classroom.
