BFS Certificate
Participants who successfully complete (for a grade):
- 4 BFS courses, if you started at Penn before 2011;
- 3 BFS courses, if you started at Penn with the class of 2014 or later;
graduate with at least a 3.4 GPA, and behave in a collegial manner, graduate as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar
Students, whether they are BFS or not, and have completed at least 7 BFS courses (for a grade and at least a 3.0 average in those 7 courses) as well as a graded research project, will receive a BFS certificate. Research must be done for credit under the direction of a member of the Penn faculty; frequently this is completed as part of honors/distinction in the major. Students who are eligible to receive the certificate must return the form below by the last Tuesday in January.
