Linda Wiedmann is a native of Philadelphia. She is one of two advisors for the Benjamin Franklin Scholars program, and she has helped to create innovative seminars. In addition, she has developed opportunities for student research, and she has established the Directory of Fellowships, Scholarships and Grants. She has a particular interest in the role of women in higher education and is a former president of Penn’s Association of Women Faculty and Administrators. Linda received her bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University.
