Sponsors the the Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellows Program and its international counterpart, the Mickey Leland International Fellows Program. The national program is 12 months and applications are due in January. The national program is 24 months with applications anticipated to be due November or December 2008. In each program, participants spend the first half of their fellowship period in the field and the second half in a policy environment with national or international organizations.
