Sponsors the Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellows Program and its international counterpart, the Mickey Leland International Fellows Program. The national program is 12 months and applications are due in mid-January. The international program is 24 months with applications anticipated to be due November or December 2012. In each program, participants spend the first half of their fellowship period in the field and the second half in a policy environment with national or international organizations.

Current and past fellows of CHC’s Emerson National and Leland International Fellowship Programs are eligible for admission to the Heinz College’s Masters of Science in Public Policy and Management and the Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Management programs. All current fellows and alumni are eligible for a scholarship of at least $6000 per semester if admitted into the program.
