Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships

The Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships (CURF) supports and endorses students applying for the major, international, post-graduate and other competitive fellowships.

It provides information and assistance for undergraduates applying for University and other sources of funding for research funding and research-related opportunities.
These include:

• The Vagelos and College Alumni Society Undergraduate Research Grants, for independent research projects.

• The Association of Alumnae Scholars Rosemary D. Mazzatenta Award for research or internships.
  

• The Rose Awards, a prize for completed research.
  
• Summer Arts and Humanities Internships
  
• The Provost’s Undergraduate Research Mentoring Program

CURF includes within it the University Scholars program, for students pursuing a high level of independent research and course work; the Benjamin Franklin Scholars program, for academically-creative students working at a high level of excellence; and the Benjamin Franklin Scholars Courses program, providing innovative and scholarly courses to the entire undergraduate community.
