University Archives and Records Center
The University Archives and Records Center, in cooperation with the Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships, is pleased to offer up to three Summer Research Fellowships to undergraduate History majors and advanced high school students. The internship period extends from a minimum of eight to a maximum of ten weeks. While they need not be continuous, the eight to ten weeks must be taken between the first day of Penn’s first summer session and the first day of Penn’s fall semester. During the Fellowship period, recipients will work daily in the University Archives on an extended research project, with the benefit of an academic advisor. Successful completion of the Fellowship is intended to result in the preparation of a scholarly paper.
