Professor Donald Kettl will deliver PASEF's Fall Lecture: "Critical Issues for the 2008 Election."

Dr. Kettl is the Robert A. Fox Leadership Professor and Professor of Political Science, University of Pennsylvania and is an expert on public policy and public administration. He is also a Nonresident Senior Fellow at Washington's Brookings Institution, executive director of the Century Foundation's Project on Federalism and Homeland Security, and Academic Coordinator of the Government Performance Project, a multi-year effort financed by the Pew Charitable Trusts to assess the performance of the American states. His new book The Next Government of the United States: Why Our Institutions Fail Us and How to Fix Them (New York: Norton) is forthcoming later this year. His timely presentation will be held at 3:30 PM on Thursday, October 2, 2008 in the Class of '49 Auditorium on the 2nd Floor of Houston Hall and will be followed by the Annual Dinner of the University of Pennsylvania Twenty Five Year Club.
