Library Services for PASEF Members, Thursday, November 14, 2013

Both classic and new services at Penn Libraries that are available to PASEF members will be reviewed at this session. Karrie Peterson, Lori Rowland, and Anu Vedantham will share with you some exciting and useful resources! They will talk about technology training, subject expert consultation, free online courses from MOOCs (massive open online courses from Penn and other universities), new databases of general interest, and collaboration tools for projects with colleagues. It is reassuring to know that the Penn Libraries, in addition to the latest digital tools, has a collection of 6 million books and counting.

This is an extraordinary opportunity for PASEF members to interact one-on-one with Penn librarians. Arranged by Professor Emerita Vivian Seltzer, PASEF Liaison to the Van Pelt Library.

Time: 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm, Thursday, November 14, 2013. Place: Meyerson conference room on 2nd floor (across from elevators) of Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center.
