Robert Seyfarth and Dorothy Cheney - "Mind and Society in Monkeys and Apes"

Monkeys and apes live in complex societies where behavior and social relationships are shaped by dominance rank, kinship, stress and memory of past interactions. This is the environment in which the primate mind evolved. Drs. Robert Seyfarth and Dorothy Cheney will discuss some recent work designed to shed light on the evolution of human thinking.

The luncheon will begin at 12pm on Friday, January 25, 2013 in the Hourglass Room of the University Club. Cost and University Club details.
