Ann Boulis and
Jerry Jacobs
will discuss how the increasing number of
women in medicine are faring in the profession and whether they will reshape
the provision of health care. Boulis and Jacobs are members of Penn's
sociology department and the authors of
The Changing Face of Medicine:
Women Doctors and the Evolution of Health Care in America published by
Cornell University Press in 2008.
