The Faculty Senate is the deliberative assembly of the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania. All members of the standing faculty and standing faculty-clinician educators who hold the ranks of professor, associate professor, and assistant professor are members of the Senate and are entitled to attend and participate in Senate meetings, introduce and vote on resolutions, and serve on Senate committees.
