Why M&T?

I've always wanted to be an entrepreneur. At M&T you get an early start, working toward a dual degree from day one. Penn has a great reputation in India and it's known to be welcoming to international students. When I visited Penn I found the environment to be warm and welcoming. The quality of faculty in both Wharton and the School of Engineering is amazing, and M&T attracts phenomenal students.

Life at Penn

As an international student, I find support everywhere. Penn is also a place that encourages entrepreneurship. The fact that I was able to start my own clubs proves that if you have an idea Penn will help you turn it into a reality. Philadelphia is artsy and fun, and it's just a cab or subway ride from campus.

Plans After Graduation

I will be joining the consulting firm McKinsey and Company in New York after graduation. I spent the summer after my junior at Goldman Sachs working in finance and thought consulting was a better fit for me right now then finance. Eventually I hope to germinate a new technology idea and start my own company in India. The best part about M&T is that I can do anything from here: graduate study in finance or engineering, or work in either field. Having two degrees makes you a fuller person with a broader range of knowledge. Within a world of globalization and fast-changing industries, it's good to keep your options open.
