Why M&T?

The M&T program is actually what brought me to Penn. I looked at several different schools and on my admissions tours I would ask if they had a similar program. I learned just how unique it was. Since I've been here I've discovered there's a bond among M&T students, and we have our own community within the university.

Life at Penn

I grew up nearby but the first time I visited campus I was amazed at how beautiful it was. I saw the architecture and the activity on Locust Walk and I immediately felt comfortable here. Hands down, the best part of Penn is the people you interact with on a daily basis. The students are so interesting and accomplished it gives you a sense of pride to be among them. At the same time, there's a good balance of working hard and having fun.

Plans After Graduation

I will be joining Two River Holding Group in New York City. Two River is a venture capital firm that specializes in building biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. This position will give me the opportunity to continue to be involved in both science and business. I might eventually get an MBA or a PhD too. The alumni network is strong —I have already been able to look up graduates in M&T Connect and I've found them to be very receptive and helpful. M&T has given me the flexibility to keep my options open.
