Why M&T?

I've been interested in engineering since I was eight but I want to work with people and not just calculators. Penn Engineering is highly reputed, and I fell in love with the campus right away. When I learned I could also study at Wharton, one of the top business schools in the country, I applied early decision and I've never regretted it.

Life at Penn

There's just something in the air here: Everyone is energetic and passionate about what they do, whether it's a club, a sorority, or community service, and that's been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my experience. Even though there are 10,000 undergraduate students, we all flow together. I've often introduced friends from different parts of my life, only to discover that they already know one another. City life is amazing, and I love being able to explore Philadelphia's restaurants and neighborhoods.

Plans After Graduation

One of the natural paths I could take would be to pursue some sort of international business with a heavy concentration in technology. It's early, though, and I still haven't ruled out other possibilities, like banking, law school or rabbinic studies. This summer I'm working at a Direct Dimension, an imaging company in Baltimore. No matter what I end up doing M&T will have prepared me—I have a whole network to draw on, and I know the degrees will carry some weight in the job market.
