Why M&T?
What initially attracted me to M&T was its unique combination of math, science, and business. After visiting the campus, I decided to apply early decision. It was only later that I learned how exceptional every other aspect of the institution is. There's a diverse group of students here from all over the world with a wide range of interests. The program is part of a dynamic campus within a great city. You're also a member of an extended alumni circle, and that's a bond that that will last throughout your life.
Life at Penn
Much of our learning goes on outside the classroom, and students here balance hard work with fun. There's a broad range of social experiences to choose from: shows, performances, lectures. For anybody interested in business we have tremendous resources—everything from speakers like Jack Welch to returning alumni offering advice.
Plans After Graduation
I'd like to work in investment analysis, incorporating news in investment strategies as the market changes, and possibly focusing on an area like pharma or healthcare. I've been recruited for a summer internship by alumni, and I'm confident about my career prospects. Again and again you hear that M&T teaches problem-solving skills that are rare in the job market. I've already seen my own skills improve.
