Why M&T?

In high school, there were times I was set on going to art school, becoming some sort of engineer, or working with people in some business aspect. I wanted to do it all and was never decisive in choosing one over the other. The M&T Program has allowed me to combine my vast interests with Computer Science Engineering integrating the arts with computer science engineering and business in Wharton. The M&T community itself is invaluable. I feel like part of one big, happy, family with phenomenal students and alumni.

Life at Penn

There's never a dull moment being a student at Penn. On top of academics and a tremendous number of extracurricular clubs made for every interest out there, there's good ol' Philadelphia. I love being able to run to the famed Rocky steps at the PMA or exploring downtown on a whim any day.  Growing up in southern Virginia surrounded by lots of trees and greenery, I love the many green lawns and beauty of Penn even though it's in a city. It really is the best of both worlds for work and play. The best part is sharing all of this with an incredible mix of students, each with their own unique experiences.

Plans After Graduation

I'm interested in a couple different paths. The first is working in the entertainment industry in computer graphics and animation for a company like Disney or Pixar. I'm also interested in the software development side for these companies or web-based design firms. Another path I could go down would be mixing my business background in the marketing or consulting industry. It's still early to tell which of these I will end up doing, but having the M&T degree allows me to keep many options open and do something that will mix all these interests and skill sets together.
