EVENTS
Atlanta. Penn On the Road will be visiting the ESPN
Zone in Atlanta on April 13: look for your invitation.
Cleveland. Dont forget to check the Ivy 15

for the latest on club events.
Delaware. Join fellow alumni for a performance from
the Shanghai Acrobatic theater at the Grand Opera House on April 16, at 3:00

Northern California. Penn On the Road will be at
the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art on May 10; invitations will be mailed
in early March.

Arthur Ross: watercolors from his tours of Greece by the 19th-century British
nonsense writer Edward Lear, through

Philadelphia. The annual night at Mask & Wig
will be held on March 23: Join us at the Mask & Wig Clubhouse for History
in the Faking; bar opens at 7 p.m., show begins at 8 p.m. Mingle with fellow
alumni at the Academy of Music on April 1, and experience the incredible Peter
Schiekle and PDQ Bach. Professors George Thomas and David Brownlee will discuss
and sign copies of their just-released, The Architectural History of the
University of Pennsylvania, at an early evening gathering, location to be

Southwest Florida. On March 19 we will be hosting
a champagne brunch at the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club. April 14 is our
annual Naples-Fort Myers Ivy League picnic. Winter visitors are welcome at all

Westchester/Rockland Counties. We will be attending
Schoolhouse Rock on March 19 at 2 p.m. at SUNY-Purchase; for information,

for April 8 at 8 p.m.; contact Joyce Goodman at (914) 723-2740. Our annual spring
dinner will be held at the Beach Point Club in Mamaroneck on Thursday, June
15. More details will follow, but please save the date.

Latino
Alumni Group Gaining Strength
During
Alumni Weekend the Association of Latino Alumni will host its membership meeting
and elections on Saturday, May 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Room 2000 of the
Roy and Diana Vagelos Laboratories of the Institute for Advanced Science and
Technology, 3340 Smith Walk, (34th Street between Walnut and Spruce Streets).
Three
new board members, each with a three-year term, will be elected. After the meeting
Gilbert F. Casellas L77, a University trustee who serves on ALAs
board, will deliver the keynote address; a reception will follow.
The
ALA board welcomes and encourages alumni to become active in the association.

the graduate and professional schools from the University of Pennsylvania
for a day-long information session, to be held at the Penn Club of New York
