Centennial Celebration

Alumni, University staff, and friends of the magazine gathered to celebrate The Pennsylvania Gazette’s 100th year of publication at the Inn at Penn on February 13. Gazette editors and guest readers performed excerpts from the magazine—from turn-of-the-century praise for the “new” Franklin Field to a personal account of escape from the World Trade Center on 9/11—followed by a reception attended by about 100 people.
