A Rosette by Any Other Name …

Nobody knows exactly how many different Penn rosettes have adorned the lapels of alumni. Fifteen of these distinctive honorary insignias (left) are labeled in a wooden case in the Sweeten Alumni House, having been issued by such diverse groups as Mask & Wig, the Philomathean Society, the Trustees’ Council of Penn Women, The Daily Pennsylvanian, and Kite & Key.
