Business-school hopefuls should join us at the Crowne Plaza Times Square on Wed., Aug. 5 for PennNYC’s Fifth Annual Keys to the MBA Admissions Process panel, with admissions officers from top MBA programs, including Wharton, Harvard, Kellogg, MIT Sloan, and Stanford. After the discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with the representatives in an informal setting. Also, attendees will have the chance to win a Kaplan Test Prep GMAT course! On Wed., July 29: speed-networking event at the Beekman Tower Hotel. At this unique event, participants will meet at least 10 alumni for six minutes each. Northern New Jersey. The Club invites you to join us this summer for a fun evening of baseball, snacks, and beverages. On Aug. 13, bring the whole family to Yogi Berra Stadium (Montclair State University campus) as we cheer for our local team, the Jackals, and listen to Bruce Springsteen music. The $15 admission price includes a box seat, snacks, and beverages. Also in August, we will host our annual Tom and Sue Newmann Picnic for incoming freshman in the area. ACA | The Alumni Council on Admissions is Penn’s advising and guidance resource for undergraduate legacy applicants. The ACA offers advice through legacy advising sessions held Monday through Friday (throughout the summer, except University holidays), 12:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m., in the Sweeten Alumni House, 3533 Locust Walk. These informal sessions allow alumni and their children and grandchildren to learn more about the ACA, Penn’s application process, and the college-search process in general.
