The Penn Prize for Excellence in Teaching by Graduate Students was
established in 2000 by President Judith Rodin. The prize recognizes
excellence in teaching by graduate students across the university
who, through their dedication to teaching, have had a profound impact
on undergraduate education at Penn. Ten $500 awards were made in
April of each year. This prize, that Dr. Rodin continues to sponsor,
is unique in that it seeks nominations specifically from undergraduate
students.
