Shirley K. Baker is Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and Dean of University Libraries at Washington University in St. Louis. She has worked with technology in industry and in universities and their libraries - at Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, and MIT. She did her graduate work at the University of Chicago. Baker serves on the boards of several library and technology organizations. Her interests are in technology as a tool for teaching and learning and in management of the organizational change that technology catalyzes.
