Peter Berek

Since 1990 Peter Berek has been Dean of Faculty/Provost and Professor of English at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. From 1967 until 1990 he served as English professor, department chair, and Dean of the College at Williams College. A specialist in Shakespeare and English Renaissance literature, Dr. Berek received a B.A. from Amherst College in 1961, an M.A. From Harvard University in 1963, and a Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1967.
