Katharine Hanson is the director of the Consortium on Financing Higher Education (COFHE) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has served as a senior level administrator in both the public and independent sectors of higher education. She has been a trustee at Stanford University and has served as an officer of that Board. Ms. Hanson has served as a consultant to senior officers in a number of colleges and universities in the United States and abroad and has served the Harvard IEM and MDP programs as a guest lecturer on policy issues in higher education for several years.
