Micheline Jedrey

Vice President for Information Services
Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Micheline Jedrey was a member of the MIT Libraries staff from 1971 to 1987, working in a variety of positions in the Barker Engineering Library and the Rotch Library of Architecture and Planning. In 1987, Ms. Jedrey was appointed the Associate Librarian for Technical Services at the Wellesley College Library. In 1989, she was promoted to College Librarian. In August 1994, Ms. Jedrey accepted the newly-created position of Vice President for Information Services, continuing her role as College Librarian. As the senior officer in charge of information technology, she oversees the departments of Information Technology Services and Information Systems and Telecommunications, and is responsible for media services.

Ms. Jedrey is Past President of the Boston Library Consortium.
