Peter C. Patton

Professor of Earth & Environmental Sciences

Peter Patton is a professor in the Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences at Wesleyan University. A member of the Wesleyan faculty since 1976, Mr. Patton received a B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College, an M.S. from Colorado State University and a Ph.D. in geology from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently serves as the senior advisor to President Douglas J. Bennet on issues of information technology. Since 1992 he has cochaired Wesleyan's Information Technology Advisory Committee, which is charged with the development and implementation of a long-range plan for enhancing the use of information technology throughout the university.
