Seha M. Tinic is President of Koc University and Professor of Finance. He received his B.A. from Robert College, his M.B.A. from University of Tulsa, and his Ph.D. from Cornell University.

Prior to joining Koc University in 1993, Dr. Tinic taught at the Graduate School of Business of the University of Texas at Austin, where he held the James A. Elkins Centennial Chair in Finance. He has been on the faculties of University of Alberta and University of British Columbia in Canada and served as Merrill Lynch Visiting Professor of Finance at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.

Seha Tinic is the co-author of two books and more than thirty professional articles on a broad array of financial topics.

He served as the President of Western Finance Association and on the editorial boards of four academic journals.

Dr. Tinic was a director of MidFirst Bank in Oklahoma City and currently serves on the Board of Koc Bank. He has been a consultant to a number of private and public organizations.
