Daniel Updegrove is University Director of Information Technology Services (ITS) at Yale University. ITS is responsible for academic and administrative computing, data and voice networking, computer resale, reprographics, and computer support. Major IT initiatives at Yale include on- and off-campus data network upgrades; financial and human resources systems reengineering and systems replacement; and infusing technology into instruction. Prior to joining Yale in 1996, Mr. Updegrove was Associate Vice Provost for Information Systems and Computing at the University of Pennsylvania, Vice President of EDUCOM, Research Associate at Yale, and Teaching Associate at Cornell, his alma mater. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of CAUSE and the Applications Committee of the Internet 2 Initiative.
