Biosketch:
Dr. John A. Rich is the Chair of Health Management and Policy at the Drexel University School of Public Health. He also direct the School’s Center for Academic Public Health Practice. Prior to coming to Drexel, Dr. Rich served as the Medical Director for the Boston Public Health Commission, the Health Department for the City of Boston. He also served as Founder and Director of the Young Men’s Health Clinic at Boston Medical Center.

In 2006, Dr. Rich received a 2006 MacArthur Foundation Fellowship from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, which cited his work to design “new models of health care that stretch across the boundaries of public health, education, social service, and justice systems to engage young men in caring for themselves and their peers.”
