Student Organization Fair
Tuesday, September 2nd
12pm-4pm
Locust Walk
Dear Org Fair Participants:
Greetings!
*Table Assignments*
Table assignments are complete. We’ve grouped you by your organization type, so that it will be easier for the new students to find community service groups, sports groups, etc. Your table assignment has a letter and a number. Letter designations are below, along with the general location of where the table will be:
Annenberg Plaza:
A – Academic
B – Media/Literary
C – Pre-Professional
D – Religious/Spiritual
Locust Walk
E – Greek Life
F – Student Government
G – Performing Arts
H – Sports/Recreation
I – Peer Education/Support
J – Student Services
K – Community Service
L – Political/Advocacy
M – Cultural/Ethnic
Table assignments are listed on the NSO website. If your group doesn’t have a table assignment, it means that you are a Greek group or a PAC group, and as per the rules of the Org Fair, you will be represented by your umbrella organization.

Org Fair Map: http://www.upenn.edu/nso/2008/events/orgfairmap.pdf
We will be distributing this map, along with a listing of participating organizations, to all new students on the walk.
On the day of the Org Fair, you will report to your general section and look for a table with a paper which will list your group name and number on it. At that point, feel free to set up your table, and one of our PHINS Orientation Volunteers will stop by to check you in. If you do not show up to your table by 12:15pm, we reserve the right to give it to a student group on our waiting list. Remember, if you have a 4’ table, it is just for your group. If you have a 6’ table, you will be sharing it. You will find out which size table you have when you come to the event.
Please keep in mind that because you are deciding to participate, you will need to staff your location the entire time of the event. You are welcome to bring decorations for your table, but anything you bring must be cleaned up by the end of the Fair.
You are responsible for staffing your table the entire time. At the end of the Fair, you are responsible for returning your table to the drop-off location on 37th and Locust. Any tables not returned will result in a $50 charge being levied against the group.
If you have any problems on the day of the event, please visit our table, which will be located on the corner of Locust Walk across from Steinberg-Dietrich Hall.
If you have any problems with your table assignment, please e-mail us at nso@pobox.upenn.edu. Please keep in mind that there are over 250 groups participating, and that while we will attempt to help everyone, we may not be able to grant every request.
In case of rain, you will be informed of the Fair's cancellation on the day of the event, however the forecast for Tuesday calls for sunny skies and mid-80s in temperature.
Thank you! We look forward to a great event!
Best,
Kristine Eiman, Jason Gray, & Adriana Massara
