NSO 2007 > NSO Packet

Students will be receiving a package from New Student Orientation in mid-July.

For Freshmen, the packet will include the following materials:

• Penn Reading Project Book: Your Inner Fish by Neil Shubin.
• Guide for Penn Families: The guide includes a calendar overview,advice for moving in, and other important information.
• Proseminar Guide: Descriptions of the proseminars.

For Transfer Students, the packet will include:

• Transfer Guide: The guide includes a detailed schedule of all transfer student orientation events as well as advice on what to do once you arrive on campus.
• Resources Guide: A map of Penn as well as listings for many campus and academic resources.

**For students living in the United States, if your packet has not arrived by August 3rd, or arrived damaged and/or missing materials, please contact us at nso@pobox.upenn.edu.

**Because of the high cost of shipping, we are unable to send additional packets or PRP books to international addresses. If your NSO packet was lost in transit or arrived damaged and/or missing materials, please download any materials as pdfs from this page, or visit the Penn Reading Project website for information on where to purchase the PRP book. You may also wait until you arrive on campus to pick up a free copy of the book from our office.
