NSO 2008 > Transfer Orientation > Student Checklist Please read the following list in its entirety before you come to campus. Tackling these requirements in the order listed will help you avoid frustration and ensure a successful semester. Before
You Arrive Register for classes. By using the online registration system Penn InTouch, signing up for classes is easy. You should do this early to avoid the rush when classes begin. Wharton and Engineering students must see an advisor before registering. Make arrangements to arrive on time. Move-In is held on Wednesday, August 27 and Thursday, August 28, 2008 for transfer students who will be living on campus. We strongly encourage you to arrive on August 27. If you need assistance to attend Orientation events: Contact the NSO Staff. Confirm your Housing Assignment. You should have already confirmed your housing through Campus Express or by email at living@pobox.upenn.edu, but if you have any lingering questions, call the Assignments Office at 215.898.8271. Compile Transfer Credit Information. Bring all related coursework, including syllabi, papers, lab notebooks, portfolios, and old exams from your previous school. This will save you a lot of time later. It is an excellent idea to copy everything before you submit it for credit evaluation just in case something gets lost. Research your Meal Plan options. You should have already received information in the mail about meal plans. If not, please contact Campus Dining Services at 215.898.7585 or info@dining.upenn.edu. When

All students living on campus are automatically signed up through your housing agreement. Off-Campus students or anyone who needs help or information about phone service should call Student Telephone Services at 215.573.5050. Visit the Transfer Office in College Hall.
