“The father of Nuevo Latino cuisine.”
We bid farewell to our Food Year dinners on the town with an epic dinner at Stephen Starr's beloved Alma de Cuba. A popular, and at times controversial, hotspot since the day it opened its doors, Alma de Cuba helped to put Philadelphia's restaurant scene back on the map.
Often impossible to get a table, this is your chance to experience all Alma de Cuba has to offer! Great food, great atomsphere and great discussion.
Dinner discussion will be lead by Prof. Kok-Chor Tan, Faculty Fellow at Riepe College House and Prof. Victoria Garcia-Serra, of the Latin American Studies program.
When: Thursday, April 17th, 6:00pm. (Those wishing to travel in a group must meet at 5.30)
