ELLEN YIN: FORKLORE

Ellen Yin

Monday, April 14th, 7:00 pm.

Rodin College House, Rooftop Lounge. 3901 Locust Walk.

"A Chinese Jersey Girl in search of American cuisine."

Ellen Yin is the owner of Fork Restaurant & Bar in Old City Philadelphia. Fork is a nationally acclaimed New American bistro offering delicious food that is seasonal, fresh and inventive. The menu is printed daily and reflects international influences from around the world. Fork uses only the highest quality ingredients, many of which are supplied by local farmers from throughout the Philadelphia area.

As part of College Houses & Academic Services's Food Year, inspired by The Omnivore's Dilemma, Ellen returns to her alma mater to discuss her passion for the restaurant and her new book, Forklore, the story of how Fork was developed and a cookbook of recipes from its kitchen. You can learn more about Fork at its official website.

A catered reception of tasty finger foods and hot and cold beverages will follow her talk.
