Beyond the Penn Reading Project...

Getting Involved

There are several organizations on campus, in the city and nationwide that focus on food, nutrition and various food-related crises. Whether you join a group full-time or just spare a few hours volunteering, there are lots of ways to get involved.

Remember that this is just a small sampling of the many groups on campus, in the city and across the nation that deal with the issues raised in The Omnivore's Dilemma. If you are interested in getting involved, be sure to do your own additional research about what's out there. Be sure not only to check out the invidual orginzation websites below, but also to fully explore sites that have directories of organizations.
