Associate General Counsel
Mark Feingold joined the Office of General Counsel as Associate General Counsel in 2012, concentrating his practice on business development, technology contracting (including internet and computer law), and general contract and commercial law matters for the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
Prior to joining Penn, Mr. Feingold was an Assistant Counsel at Merck, where he supported the in-and out-licensing of compounds, products and enabling technologies as well as mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Merck, Mr. Feingold worked at sanofi-aventis and legacy companies, providing legal support for business development and serving as a commercial and regulatory counsel. Prior to working in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Feingold was an in-house counsel at the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
Mr. Feingold graduated from Pennsylvania State University (B.A., high honors), and received his law degree from the American University. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. Mr. Feingold has published and lectured on various legal matters and is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Licensing Executives Society, and other legal organizations.
