Kate Donohue is Director, Legal Affairs of the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Technology Transfer, as well as an Associate General Counsel of the University of Pennsylvania.  As an intellectual property attorney, she has devoted over 20 years to legal support of technology development, protection and licensing.  Ms. Donohue assists the Penn community in the licensing and commericalizing of Penn's technology and inventions and other IP issues that relate to technology transfer.

Prior to joining Penn, Ms. Donohue was a partner at Pepper Hamilton LLP, has served as Assistant General Counsel of Sanchez Computer Associates, a software company, and served as the senior intellectual property attorney at Drexel University.  She received an AB in International Relations from the University of Michigan Honors College and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
