The Department of Transportation and Parking manages and operates a number of parking facilities on Penn's campus, including garages and lots. While many of the facilities are permit-only and reserved for university faculty, staff and students, there is also ample visitor parking available. (See Parking Map). Operating hours and parking fees are posted at each facility.

“Go Green, Go SEPTA” to the 2008 Philadelphia Flower Show — March 2 through March 9
is a great way to travel to the Convention Center and avoid the hefty parking fees and traffic congestion of Center City Philadelphia, while helping save the environment.

‘Think green, ride the bus,’ says Phila.
Transit officials are hoping to get people in the Philadelphia region to begin thinking green. SEPTA, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, is announcing a program aimed at increasing ridership to reduce emissions that contribute to global warming. The campaign, “Go Green, Go SEPTA,” is timed to coincide with the Philadelphia Flower Show, which runs March 2-9 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. SEPTA operates 32 dieselelectric hybrid buses and plans to add 400 more by 2011. — AP
