Featured speakers included Catherine Ross, Georgia Tech's Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development; Parris Glendening, Smart Growth Leadership Institute; Robert Yaro, Regional Plan Association; and Joel Kotkin, author of The City: A Global History. The panel addressed the impacts of U.S. population growth, emerging spatial development patterns such as megaregions, and their effect on the way in which people live and work in the 21st century.
