Book talk: Randall F. Mason, “The Once and Future New York: Historic Preservation and the Modern City” (Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press, 2009)
Philadelphia Center for Architecture, 1218 Arch Street | 6:00pm

Focusing on three New York City projects—the restoration of City Hall Park, the ultimately failed attempt to save historic St. John’s Chapel and the construction of the Bronx River Parkway— Mason challenges several myths about historic preservation. The event will be followed by a book signing and reception. Books will also be available to purchase. Click here for more information on the book series.
