Roundtable Discussion: Cultural Responsibility in the Design Professions
The lack of diversity within the design professions has been linked to inequity of minority communities. Does this imply responsibility of people of color to the communities they represent? To what extent should cultural backgrounds influence the professional's work? This roundtable discussion will bring together professionals from across the design professions to discuss if and how their culture is incorporated into their work and give insight into how future and current professionals of color can approach their own.
