A lot of Moxy on the
World Cafe
Seems The World Cafe cant get enough of Moxy Fruvous.
The cheeky Canadians, an audience favorite at last years Singer/Songwriter
Weekend, are featured yet again on Nov. 2 when the Cafe re-airs their
earlier studio visit. But theres plenty thats new these next
two weeks, too, including releases by Afro-Celt Sound System and the Indigo
Girls. Heres the complete rundown:

Oct. 28 Modern day bluesman Joe Louis Walker drops in to perform
music from Silvertone Blues
Friday,
Oct. 29 The Afro-Celt Sound System visit Indre recording studios
for a special performance featuring music from their latest effort, Volume

Nov. 2 An encore presentation of Moxy Fruvous Cafe visit

Nov. 3 Midwestern singer/songwriter Dave Moore plays music

Nov. 4 The Cafe celebrates the words and music of Townes Van Zandt

Nov. 5 Buddy & Julie Miller chat with David and perform in the

Nov. 5 The Indigo Girls drop by Indre for a special performance and
interview featuring music from their new release, Come On Now Social

"The World Cafe," which is heard on more than 100 public radio stations nationwide, is produced by WXPN-FM (88.5) and airs locally from 2 to 7 p.m. weekdays. All live appearances air between 3 and 4 p.m. .
