Sept. 28, 2000 Wax on, wax off We have no idea why Mahesh Muthu (W’04, foreground) and Grace Yoon (W’04) decided to dip their hands in wax and then dip the casts in paint at a crafts fair held as part of the “See, Hear and Taste” festival during “No Place Like Penn at Perelman Quad” weekend. Perhaps they were preparing for a future statue of themselves at Madame Tussaud’s. We’re sure they had fun doing it, though, as did their fellow students who turned out to hear bands, sample food and participate in several different arts and crafts activities. Photo by Daniel R.
