Get a house, sha nna na, sha nna nna na The Office of Community Housing is offering workshops for homeowners and prospective homeowners who are members of the Penn community. Heres a list of upcoming classes: Community Housing 101: Get general home buying information and learn about Penns Guaranteed Mortgage Program.
Home Buying Seminar: Everything you ever wanted to know about how to shop for and pay for a home of your own.
Obtaining a Mortgage: How do you apply for a mortgage? What are your choices? How long does it take?
Credit Counseling and Repair: Learn how to repair damaged credit and how banks make loan decisions.
Homeowners Insurance: Learn about the different types of insurance and how much to buy.
Hiring a Contractor: Are you getting what you paid for? What are you entitled to? Arm yourself against cons and gimmicks.
Budgeting Workshop: Learn to plan for your financial future by controlling your saving and spending patterns.
