TRAINING

Learn IT for less

BY SANDY SMITH

The College of General Studies’ non-credit information-technology program, IT@Penn, is now being offered at a substantial discount for faculty, staff and students enrolled in degree programs.

The discounts mean that Penn affiliates wishing to enroll in one of IT@Penn’s tracks or take single courses can do so for 20 to 25 percent off the full listed tuition.

Professional tracks offered under IT@Penn include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, Web Design/e-Commerce, and Oracle Database Administrator. The program also offers foundation courses to prepare students for more advanced work.

In addition, IT@Penn will match the price of any qualified vendor offering comparable IT training for Penn students and staff.

“When we were able to achieve some savings, we wanted to pass those on to the Penn community,” said Susan Gill, assistant dean of CGS.

For information about IT@Penn, visit www.upenn.edu /learnit or call 215-573-0860.
