WHAT HE DOES: Whiteman (center) oversees a staff of two full-time assistants and 32 student employees, including Aurelio Marquez (C’06, right), who answer anywhere from 1,500 to 2,000 calls each week and handle ticket sales and requests at the Annenberg box office. If a patron has a request that the student agents cannot handle, Whiteman deals with it himself.
TICKETS SOLD: According to Marketing Manager Roy Wilbur, 95,000 patrons attended 170 Penn Presents performances last fiscal year.
