Ajay T. Nair has been named the director of the Pan-Asian American Community House (PAACH) and assistant director of the Asian American studies program. As head of PAACH, Nair will work to increase Penn’s local and national linkages with Asian American communities and organizations as well as develop programs that will advise students on academic and professional issues. Other responsibilities include organizing conferences and symposia and providing resource and research material on Asian American political, cultural and community concerns. Nair was the assistant dean of students at the University of Virginia prior to joining Penn.
