It’s not often that someone gets to shake hands with an Egyptian pharaoh, but first-year English Language Programs student Cenk Bilge (left) got the opportunity at this year’s welcome reception for international students, held at the University of Pennsylvania Museum Oct. 24. Museum Director Jeremy Sabloff (center), Debra Kahn, Philadelphia’s education secretary, and several consuls were also on hand to greet more than 900 students from 111 countries attending 55 colleges, universities and postsecondary programs in three states.
